Georgia Football Schedule 2012: Alabama Game Replaced By Missouri, According To Report

According to a report, Georgia will lose its 2012 match up against Alabama in favor of a match up with SEC newcomer Missouri.

Dec 22, 2011 - According to a report by Gentry Estes, the Georgia Bulldogs won't be making their previously scheduled trip to Tuscaloosa in 2012. The game is reportedly being replaced with the Bulldogs' first matchup against SEC newcomer Missouri.

Gentry Estes of Dawgs247 is now reporting that Georgia will likely lose their previously scheduled 2012 trip to Alabama (premium content), while keeping their return trip from Ole Miss.

Georgia is also looking to move the South Carolina further back in the schedule. In recent seasons, the Bulldogs have usually opened up SEC play against the Gamecocks.

Obviously any match up with Missouri would certainly be more favorable than any trip to Tuscaloosa to take on Nick Saban's Crimson Tide. The entire SEC schedule expects to receive tweaks as they continue to work through expansion.
