Kevin Ware, the Conyers native who stepped away from the Tennessee Volunteers after the firing of Bruce Pearl, is going to play for the Central Florida KnightsAccording to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Michael Carvell, Ware liked UCF's coaches and the opportunity to play early that he'd enjoy in Orlando.

Missing out on Rivals' No. 14 shooting guard were the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgetown Hoyas, Louisville Cardinals, and UCLA Bruins. Oh, and the South Carolina Gamecocks, who are starting up a basketball program soon.

Perhaps Ware was slipped some footage of the 2010 Liberty Bowl? Pretty sure this all somehow involves Washaun Ealey getting punched in the face. Between Ware and Michael Jordan's kid, UCF might be on the way to building itself a decent hoops setup.
