2011 NFL Draft: Patrick Peterson to Arizona

Stay connected for news and updates

The Arizona Cardinals certainly know who the hell Mel Kiper is - LSU corner and return specialist Patrick Peterson, the coifed one's overall most coveted player in this draft, is off the board at #5. Peterson certainly wasn't championed by Kiper alone - his skill set as a punt and kick returner with breakaway speed, as well as his potential to become a rare lockdown corner.

The first round of the 2011 NFL Draft started at 8 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, April 28th, and SB Nation has everything you need to keep up with it: news, rumors, player profiles, scouting reports, the full NFL draft schedule, NFL mock drafts, draft projections and more.
