2011 NFL Mock Draft: A.J. Green Gains From Da'Quan Bowers Struggles

Stay connected for news and updates

Clemson Tigers DE Da'Quan Bowers had a disappointing pro day -- depending on who you ask, at least. In SB Nation's latest 2011 NFL mock draft, Bowers falls from the top 10 to Georgia Bulldogs WR A.J. Green's benefit. Seems the Cleveland Browns, picking No. 6, need receivers and pass rushers, and without any spectacular DE value, they get Green this time around.

UGA's Justin Houston is again absent this week. Wonder what he did wrong

Alabama's Marcell Dareus is your new No. 2 to Denver, with Patrick Peterson going No. 5 to Arizona and Nick Fairley at No. 8 to Tennessee. The top 10 has far less SEC in it than it's had in past editions, and Bowers' tumble means no ACC at all. Boston College's Anthony Castonzo and UNC's Robert Quinn do join Bowers in the top 15, along with Bama's Julio Jones.
