NBA Draft Results: Travis Leslie Joins Trey Thompkins On Clippers

Los Angeles Clippers fans, get ready to pair Blake Griffin with another high-flying, highlight-reel athlete. Travis Leslie of the Georgia Bulldogs is a future NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner, I guarantee it, though he also has a reasonable jumper, a decent passing eye and collects the requisite rebounds you'd expect from a six-foot-four athlete whose hops make him seem much, much taller.

For live updates on 2011 NBA Draft picks as they're announced, head to SB Nation's NBA Draft hub.

He's most frequently been compared to Tony Allenthough he'd prefer to be compared to somebody else, apparently. During his time at UGA he wasn't known as a hothead or a player who spoke out of turn, so that flareup about Allen came as a surprise.

(SIDE NOTE: The Clippers are the new Texas Rangers, having selected two Georgia players in one draft. We still don't like you, Donald Sterling, but your roster is pretty cool.)

Leslie's athleticism has meant most of his nicknames are variations on UGA legend Dominique Wilkins'. The Human Highlight YouTube, perhaps. Speaking of, you cannot tell the story of Leslie at Georgia without observing video of his infamous plastering of DeMarcus Cousins:
