In a park like TD Ameritrade (and against the best players in the nation), runs are going to come at a premium. The Florida Gators were able to produce the first score of the 2011 College World Series final, as Cody Dent scored Tyler Thompson on a sacrifice fly to right field. Forrest Koumas sustains the earned run -- it was a Koumas wild pitch that advanced Thompson into easy scoring position.
Hudson Randall has given up just one hit for Florida, and has mown down three batters. Koumas is a step behind, having also allowed a walk. However, he has not yet struck a batter.
