2012 Georgia Football Schedule Finalized, Revealed In 2011 Media Guide

Via Gentry Estes' sharp eye, the 2011 Georgia Bulldogs media guide appears to show off the final version of the 2012 UGA football schedule. We already knew about all these opponents, but note Tennessee and Vandy are in September instead of October, which sets up a three-game home stand and means an open date after the toughest road stretch, through Alabama and Kentucky. Well, the only road stretch. Life is hard.

Dawgs fans will also be pleased to note the open date before the Cocktail Party remains intact after having been cited as an unnecessary challenge in years past. Overall it looks a little tougher than this year's, with road trips to Carolina, Bama and Auburn, but still includes just four true road games.

The schedule:

Sept. 1 vs. Buffalo Bulls
Sept. 8 at South Carolina Gamecocks
Sept. 15 vs. Florida Atlantic Owls
Sept. 22 vs. Vanderbilt Commodores
Sept. 29 vs. Tennessee Volunteers
Oct. 6 at Alabama Crimson Tide
Oct. 13 at Kentucky Wildcats
Oct. 20 OPEN
Oct. 27 vs. Florida Gators in Jacksonville
Nov. 3 vs. Mississippi Rebels
Nov. 10 at Auburn Tigers
Nov. 17 vs. Georgia Southern Eagles
Nov. 24 vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
