Janzen Jackson Rejoins Tennessee Football After 'Personal Issues' Forced Withdrawal

Tennessee Volunteers fans have gone a long while without any good news, other than the termination of athletic director Mike Hamilton. So here's a very good development indeed: Janzen Jackson is back on the team after stepping away in February.

Jackson had dealt with what were termed personal issues since late last season, even missing workouts at one point. His return gives the Vols defense some stability as the program continues to recover from the Lane Kiffin months (while still sexily honoring his sexy legacy).

A 2009 SEC all-freshman and 2010 All-SEC second-teamer, Jackson is one of the nation's best safeties, Tennessee's best defender and perhaps its best player. In a division that very well could include the SEC's top three passers, his talents against both aerial and ground assaults will prove invaluable.
