Three Boise State Players To Miss Game Vs. Georgia, Including Cedric Febis

Stay connected for news and updates

Boise State will be without three players for its game against Georgia.

The Georgia Bulldogs have dealt with eligibility questions heading into their season opener against the Boise St. Broncos, from Jarvis Jones (who was cleared after some old AAU benefits emerged) to Caleb King (who plays for the Vikings now). But at least Georgia's have been settled for a while now.

Boise State announced the day before the Chick-fil-A game that three players, including starting safety Cedric Febis, will miss Saturday's game, and not due to academics or team rule violations. The others are co-starting wide receiver Geraldo Boldewijn and backup defensive tackle Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe.

The fun part: they're all from Amsterdam, and now you may let your punchlines fly.

All three players were expected to play quite a bit -- Chadd Cripe provides a quick breakdown on exactly what Boise State could be missing as it attempts to beat Georgia in the Dome.
