Stay connected for news and updates

The Georgia Bulldogs led 16-0 at halftime, but the Michigan State Spartans climbed back into the game in the third and fourth quarters of the 2012 Outback Bowl.

Currently in the final quarter, the Bulldogs are clinging to a 27-20 lead and have just picked up a huge interception on a Spartans offensive drive.

In the fourth quarter, after Blair Walsh kicked a 41-yard field goal to push Georgia's lead to 19-14, Spartans quarterback Kirk Cousins completed a touchdown pass to Keith Nichol. After a two-point conversion failed, the Spartans were up by a score of 20-19.

The Bulldogs answered right back with a touchdown pass of their own from Aaron Murray to Brandon Boykin to reclaim the lead, 27-20. The Spartans appeared to be threatening again with a drive, but the Bulldogs were able to grab an interception to take over once again.
