2012 National Signing Day Rankings: Georgia Class Earns No. 10 Spot

Stay connected for news and updates

SB Nation's recruiting contributor Bud Elliott has a set of star-specific rankings for the current emerging recruiting classes for 2012, and Georgia ranks tenth nationally on his list, with 52 percent of its 14 non-kicker/punter commits rated as four stars or higher.

But as with any set of recruiting rankings, in the cutthroat SEC, it's almost more important to see a team's ranking relative to their conference competition. To that end, the Dawgs are fourth, behind Florida (No. 2), Alabama (No. 5) and Auburn (No. 7).

There are a couple of key consideration's in Elliott's rankings - junior college and prep school commitments aren't included, as they can be rated extremely different (or not at all) between the four major recruiting services - 24/7 Sports, ESPN, Scout and Rivals. For a full breakdown and explanation, check out Elliot's rankings here.
