Shaq Wiggins Commits To Georgia Football For 2013

According to Dawg Post's Chad Simmons, Sandy Creek High School cornerback Shaq Wiggins has committed to the University of Georgia for the 2013 season.

Wiggins, who stands at 5-foot-10, weighs in at 160 pounds and has a 40-yard dash time of 4.49, and is considered a cover corner, which is something the Bulldogs will need in 2013. Four starters will be graduating in the secondary after the 2012 season and two freshmen have been dismissed from the team.

Wiggins' strengths are considered his coverage awareness, his anticipation and his hands and needs work on his backpedal quickness, his ability to jam receivers at the line and his size could be a problem. Wiggins is listed as a four-star recruit and schools including Cincinnati, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ohio State, Tennessee and Wake Forest reportedly offered him scholarships.
