Georgia routed Arkansas in an upset this week, and now hopes to score their first back-to-back wins in SEC play this season at Mississippi State Saturday.
Georgia (11-12, 2-7 SEC) arrives to Starkville with its first shot of momentum since the start of conference play, having routed Arkansas 81-59 earlier in the week to earn the Bulldogs' second SEC win of the season. They'll need as much as they can get against a Mississippi State team (19-5, 6-3 SEC) starting to hit their stride late in the season.
Freshman guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has emerged as a star for UGA, averaging 14.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. A win today create the first back to back victories for Georgia since December 30.
