Max Garcia Offered By Georgia, Florida, Auburn After Maryland Transfer

Former Maryland Terrapins offensive lineman Max Garcia was initially linked to sign with the Georgia Bulldogs following his transfer earlier this week. However, there is now a second player in the discussion for Garcia, as the Florida Gators have stepped in and also offered Garcia a scholarship. Garcia has also received offers from Auburn and Ole Miss, plus Alabama and South Carolina are currently evaluating the offensive lineman for a potential offer.

Safe to say Garcia has plenty of suitors for his services.

Georgia head coach Mark Richt is in desperate need of offensive line personnel, and adding a potential NFL prospect to his front line would do wonders for current players like Aaron Murray and Isaiah Crowell.

Garcia won't be able to play in this 2012 season under NCAA transfer guidelines, but will have two years eligibility remaining. Garcia will finish out his last semester in College Park and will begin lining up official visits in the next couple of weeks.
