The Vanderbilt Commodores outscored the Georgia Bulldogs 33-23 in the second half to win on the road in Athens by the final score of 61-52. The win gives Vanderbilt a 19-8 record overall, 8-4 in SEC play and are setting themselves up for a national ranking and more favorable seed in the NCAA tournament.
John Jenkins went off in the second half, scoring 16 of his 28 points points in the final twenty minutes to push the Commodores over the top. Georgia was lead by Gerald Robinson's 19 points, but their leading scorer Kentavious Caldwell-Pope struggled on Sunday as he finished with just 6 points on 3-of-13 shooting.
Georgia's record falls to 12-14 on the season and 3-9 in conference play.
