NFL Draft 2012: Cordy Glenn Slotted At No. 23 To The Detroit Lions

Stay connected for news and updates

Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Cordy Glenn is poised to be one of the top offensive lineman in the 2012 NFL Draft. Initially, many mock drafts had Glenn coming off the board in the second or third round, but with an impressive showing in the 2012 Senior Bowl Glenn is cracking many draft boards to come off late in the first round.

In SB Nation's first post Super Bowl mock draft, Ryan Van Biber has the Detroit Lions taking the former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman with the No. 23 pick:

23. Detroit Lions, Cordy Glenn, OL, Georgia

Glenn might be best suited to play inside. At the Senior Bowl, Glenn got moved to the blindside by the NFL coaching staff, and he did not disappoint. He has the natural balance and agility to move with defenders on the outside. Even a little rough around the edges, he would be solid replacement for free agent Jeff Backus.
