Knowshon Moreno Arrested: DUI In A Bentley With 'SAUCED' Plate

Former Georgia Bulldogs standout Knowshon Moreno was arrested on drunk driving charges back on February 1. Moreno was allegedly driving a Bentley convertible when he was pulled over for speeding through a construction zone. The license plate on the Bentley had personalized plates reading "SAUCED"

Sauced or not, Moreno was reportedly polite and courteous to police during the stop but was arrested after failing roadside sobriety tests. The Denver Broncos issued a statement regarding the matter saying that they are further reviewing the matter.

"We take the incident involving Knowshon Moreno very seriously and are thoroughly reviewing this matter. Our organization will continue to gather information and closely monitor this issue while the legal process runs its course."

Moreno was a standout running back at Georgia while amassing more than 2,700 yards in just two seasons in Athens. The Denver Broncos selected Moreno with the 12th overall pick in the 2009 draft. He suffered a torn ACL on November 15 and missed the remainder of the season.
