After much panic and outcry, it seems the SEC has figured out how to hang onto its traditional rivalries. Texas A&M and South Carolina are talking up a permanent rivalry, while Arkansas has become Mizzou's dance partner. Yes, Texas A&M and South Carolina are rivals now. No, that doesn't need to make sense.
The good news is that if even Texas A&M is being given a permanent, cross-division rival, then Georgia vs. Auburn will surely be preserved.
