During his meeting with the Augusta Bulldog Club, Mark Richt talked about Georgia's backup quarterback situation and gave Christian LeMay a pretty good endorsement.
Richt says that "if all goes to plan" Christian LeMay will "more than likely be the No. 2 quarterback." But Faton Bauta could also contend.— Seth Emerson (@SethEmerson) April 17, 2012
Hutson Mason is next in line to replace starter Aaron Murray but the plan is for him to take a red shirt this season so that he will have at least one year of eligibility remaining after Murray leaves. Barring a major injury to Murray, Mason won't be a factor during the 2012 season.
That leaves LeMay who played well in the G-Day gave over the weekend throwing for 154 yards and a touchdown. Freshman Faton Bauta and walk on Parker Welch are the other options the Bulldogs have at the quarterback position.
