Georgia picked up commitment No. 13 on Monday when South Gwinnett High's Reggie Carter picked the Bulldogs over South Carolina, Florida State and others. Carter is a 6-foot-1, 220 pound linebacker who missed almost his entire junior season with a torn ACL.
Carter is back to full strength now and is poised for a big season for South Gwinnett. He becomes the Bulldogs' third linebacker commitment for Georgia's constantly growing 2013 class. He joins Orlando's Ryne Rankin and West Lauren's Johnny O'Neil.
Carter could likely play either inside or outside linebacker at Georgia. By all accounts, Carter is hard working and possesses many of the strong character traits of a distinguished leader. He currently isn't rated very high by a lot of recruiting services due to missing the entire 2011 season with an injury but should move up significantly this season.
