Isaiah Crowell Arrest Resulted From Stop At Vehicle Checkpoint

Stay connected for news and updates

Details are still sketchy regarding the arrest of sophomore running back Isaiah Crowell but it seems to have came from a stop at a vehicle checkpoint that occurred around 2:20 a.m. Friday morning according to a report by Seth Emerson.

Neither the University or head coach Mark Richt has released any comment as of yet. Crowell was reportedly arrested on two felonies and one misdemeanor which many are speculating will put his status with the program in jeopardy. Georgia for the most part has had a quiet offseason up until now. Crowell emerged from spring practice listed as the co-starter along with fellow running back Ken Malcome.
