Georgia Commitment Naim Mustaffa To Visit Other Schools

Stay connected for news and updates

Georgia earned a commitment from 4-star linebacker Naim Mustaffa out of Alpharetta last month, and while the prospect will attend Friday's "Dawg Night" camp on the UGA campus, the AJC's Michael Carvell reports he'll leave immediately after to visit Tennessee, before heading west to check out other top programs, including USC, Nebraska and Oklahoma State:

When asked to put a percentage on his commitment to UGA, Mustafaa replied, "I couldn’t put a percentage on it. That’s where I want to go. It’s pretty strong. It took a lot for me to commit there, so I doubt I will have any change of mind.

"Still, I plan to go on these official visits, have fun, and go with an open mind."

Here's some comfort for UGA fans - Mustaffa committed to the Dawgs despite being the son of former Georgia Tech star Najee Mustaffa, and being recruited hard by the Yellow Jackets.
