Shaun McGee accepted the scholarship offer he won from Dawg Night this past weekend. McGee chose the Bulldogs over the national champion Alabama Crimson Tide because it's closer to home for him and had this to say about the decision:
"I just feel like it's close to home here, but not only that - I felt like they're family at Georgia ... I got the family vibe," McGee told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"I love what they're trying to do at Georgia. I'm just ready to get started. Not only that, but I can also get a world-class education here as well. It's just a win-win situation, playing for an elite team at an elite school with good academics. I just feel like I can't go wrong with Georgia."
a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker from Brookwood High School who had 32 offers that Georgia emerged from.
