The Georgia Bulldogs climbed two spots in the national polls, going from No. 7 to No. 5.
The Georgia Bulldogs moved up two spots in the national rankings, going from No. 7 to No. 5 after their victory against Florida Atlantic. Again, the two Pac-12 schools and the rest of the country are chasing the SEC, as they deposit three teams in the top five, including the No. 1 Tide, No. 2 LSU Tigers and No. 5 Dawgs.
Alabama grabbed 58 of the available 60 first-place votes, with LSU securing the last two.
A loss to the Stanford Cardinal spells a steep drop in the latest AP Poll for the USC Trojans, who fall from No. 2 in the rankings to No. 13 and, like the rest of the nation, continue to chase the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide.
For their victory, the Cardinal jump 12 spots, moving from No. 21 last weekend to No. 9 in the third regular season AP Poll.
Oregon claims the No. 3 spot in this week's poll.
