The Georgia Bulldogs held steady at No. 5 in the Week 5 AP poll.
The Georgia Bulldogs continued an impressive month of September on Saturday with a dominating win over Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs are now 4-0 and one of four SEC teams in the top six in the country. One SEC titan, LSU, was leapfrogged by Oregon after the Tigers struggled on the road against Auburn.
The Bulldogs held steady in their No. 5 spot, but South Carolina is right on their heels after they moved up because of Oklahoma's loss. Georgia will head to Columbia in two weeks for a huge SEC East clash against the Gamecocks. Another SEC East team, Florida, is on the doorstep of the top 10, moving up three spots to No. 11.
