Kevin Liles-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Offensive lineman Trenton Brown has reportedly opted out of his commitment to play at Georgia next season.

The 6'8, 358-pound lineman currently plays at Georgia Military College. Brown's coach at GMC, Bert Williams, told reporters,

"From what he told me, he felt like he wasn't shot straight with what (Georgia's) plans for him were. I can tell (Brown and his father) were kind of upset with things as far as what they anticipated him playing."

According to Marc Weiszer of Dog Bytes Online, Brown is hoping to play offensive tackle, but was nervous that Georgia coaches would ask him to play guard.

Brown will now pursue offers from Florida, Texas A&M, Arizona, and Ole Miss.

Georgia can still expect a strong crop of offensive linemen, as it got an early commitment from 4-star recruit Brandon Kublanow. In addition, it expects Josh Cardiello and Aulden Bynum to contribute to the offensive line.
