Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Chase Vasser has returned from his suspension to make an impact, displaying an efficient game that makes the most of his skills and opportunities.
Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Chase Vasser was suspended for the first two games of the season but is aiming to make an impact with his return, reports Dog Bytes. He got a great start on doing so against Florida Atlantic, recording a career-high seven tackles and a forced fumble. Said Vasser:
"It definitely shows off the hard work I've put in. I just thank the coaches for allowing me to come back and play fast and physical. I had a little chip on my shoulder from (missing) the first two weeks."
Head coach Mark Richt made note of how efficient Vasser was, making the most of the limited time he was in the game. The junior is used when the situation calls for his skills, mostly against two-receiver sets. He's making the most of those opportunities, taking advantage of experience gained in previous seasons and making the kind of plays Georgia needs to keep its hot start going.
