Georgia vs. Kentucky: Bulldog offensive line looks for improvement

Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Georgia's offense is coming off a poor showing in South Carolina, in which quarterback Aaron Murray passed for only 109 yards.

Following a disappointing 35-7 loss to South Carolina, the Georgia offensive line will use its bye week to improve. The Bulldog offense mustered a paltry seven points, and quarterback Aaron Murray was sacked twice.

While blame does not fall entirely on the line, they know that Saturday was not their best performance. The line is eager to keep working and move past last weekend's catastrophe. Said freshman right tackle John Theus,

"That's the thing about this team, we bounce back. That game is behind us. (Tuesday) was a good day. We went out there and worked hard. We know everything we've got to do, and (Tuesday) was a good start to continuing that."

Following their bye week, the Bulldogs will take on the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky's defense has allowed almost 400 yards per game, so the Georgia offense should expect to return to its normal, stellar self. Prior to last Saturday's game at South Carolina, Georgia led the SEC with 48.2 points and 536 yards per game of offense.
