Wide receiver Demarre Kitt decommitted from Georgia on Thursday.

Demarre Kitt, one of the most coveted wide receivers in the Class of 2014, announced via Twitter on Thursday that he is decommitting from Georgia.

Kitt committed to Georgia in April toward the end of his sophomore year of high school.

Kitt, out of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga., fielded offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Mississippi, Mississippi State and South Carolina before accepting Georgia's offer.

A junior this year, Kitt stands at 6'1 and 195 pounds. He committed to Georgia over Clemson in April.

"Georgia is the place I want to be, it feels like home, and I love everything about it," Kitt told the AJC.

Defensive back Nick Glass also committed to Georgia. Kitt and Glass are best friends, which influenced Kitt's decision.

"Nick is committed to Georgia, and that helped a little with my decision," Kitt told the AJC in April.
