Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt discussed his team's upcoming conference match up against Kentucky

Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt talked with the media, including Marc Weiszer of Athens Banner-Herald, on Sunday evening to discuss the team's upcoming conference game against Kentucky and the SEC division race as we pass the midpoint of the college football season.

When asked about the SEC East division race, Richt did not want to focus on the future, instead saying the team just needs to worry about what is front of them right now while continuing to improve. That would be a date with the Kentucky Wildcats.

"Right now, I think the best thing for Georgia is to focus on getting better, focus on Kentucky. That's kind of a boring answer as always, but it's really what we've got to do.

When asked about the health of outside linebacker Jarvis Jones, Richt offered good news, saying he believes Jones will play on Saturday despite missing practices last week with a sprained ankle.

The Bulldogs were off this past week after being crushed by SEC East rival South Carolina, giving the team extra time to recover from the loss and prepare for their upcoming game against Kentucky.
