The Crimson Tide and Gators are atop both the SEC and BCS standings.

The SEC is shaping up to be America's best conference yet again. In the first BCS standings, Alabama and Florida were ranked first and second, respectively.

But there is a lot of football left to be played, and the conference title race, let alone BCS title race, is tighter than ever.

In addition to the Crimson Tide and the Gators, Mississippi State is still undefeated this season. Meanwhile, South Carolina, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M all have just one conference loss.
