After being pushed around in a 35-7 loss to South Carolina on Oct. 6, the Georgia Bulldogs' offensive line hopes to prove itself against one the nation's best defensive lines in Saturday's game against the Florida Gators.

The Bulldogs learned a lot from that lopsided loss, according to the AJC.

Despite its subpar play against South Carolina, true freshman right tackle John Theus said the line's confidence didn't suffer. It just meant the mistakes they made were easier to notice.

"Any game, whether you win or lose, there is stuff to learn from," he said. "Some games you have more to learn from than others, and we definitely had a lot to learn from the (South Carolina) game."

Georgia center David Andrews said missed assignments against South Carolina "hurt us bad. You can't have those against a great defense like that."

Right guard Chris Burnette said the atmosphere against South Carolina hurt the team's communication.

"It helped us realize that regardless of what the exterior situation is, we've got to focus on trying to let the guys next to us know exactly what we need to be doing," Burnette told the AJC.

The Bulldogs went into Saturday's game as 27-point favorites against Kentucky, but came away with just a 29-24 win. Quarterback Aaron Murray tossed four touchdowns and passed for 427 yards, but was sacked three times. The team rushed for 77 total yards.
