College football AP poll, Week 10: Georgia climbs to No. 7

After defeating the Florida Gators on Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs moved up to No. 7 in the Associated Press poll.

A wild weekend in college football shook up the Associated Press Top 25 poll, but the Georgia Bulldogs are on the good side of things. With Saturday's win against the Florida Gators, the Dawgs moved from No. 12 to No. 7, closer to their No. 5 ranking earlier in the season before the loss to South Carolina.

Kansas State moved to No. 3 after annihilating the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Oregon was able to maintain its second slot with a 70-14 win over Colorado.

With Florida losing to Georgia and dropping to No. 8, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish moved to No. 4 on the strength of their victory over Oklahoma, which dropped six spots to No. 14.

LSU has moved back into the the top five ahead of a huge match-up with Alabama on Saturday. The Crimson Tide tightened their grip on the top spot, with unanimous first-place votes.
