Mark Richt is focused on making sure his team is prepared in every aspect for Saturday's showdown.

The SEC has four teams ranked in among the top six in the nation, and on Saturday, two of them will square off when No. 5 Georgia meets No. 6 South Carolina.

With so much at stake, Georgia head coach Mark Richt said in his press conference that he has no doubt that his team will be ready for the showdown.

"We’re just trying to keep the focus on the process of getting better like we’ve been trying to do all season long and not focus too much on what the game means. I don’t think I’ll have to say too much about that, but I think it’s going to be pretty obvious to them how big of a game it is, so let’s focus on the things that can help them play well."

Late in his press conference, Richt confirmed that Rhett McGowan would be taking over as the team's punt returner. He also added that Malcolm Mitchell has been practicing on both sides of the ball.
