Georgia tight ends were targeted by quarterback Aaron Murray in the first half versus Auburn on Saturday.
Lynch matched a career high with three catches for 29 yards, while Rome caught two balls for 17 yards in the first half against Auburn. Coming into the game, the tight ends combined for four catches or less in every game this season.
The game on Saturday was Georgia's first game without senior wide receiver Marlon Brown, who injured his ACL in a 37-10 win over Ole Miss on Nov. 3. Brown has 27 receptions for 469 yards and four touchdowns this season, but will miss the remainder of the year due to the injury.
Aaron Murray was 18-of-24 passing for 208 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday.
The 38-point margin of victory tied Georgia's 45-7 win in 2011 as the second largest margin of victory in the history of the series. The Bulldogs have won six of the last seven meetings against the Tigers.
