Georgia is 9-1 and headed to the SEC Championship game.

Georgia improved to 9-1 on the season after a 38-0 win over Auburn on Saturday, and are headed to the SEC Championship game for the second consecutive season.

Chuckdawg of Dawg Sports think this is a special year for Georgia:

As I said early in the year in print and on the Dawg Gone Podcast, this is a special team and a special year.

The Georgia defense recorded its first shutout of the season on Saturday, and the first against Auburn since 1976. The Bulldogs defense hasn't given up any points in the last six quarters, dating back to their game against Ole Miss on Nov. 3, and has only allowed one touchdown in the last three games. The Georgia defense is giving up 18.8 points per game, which ranks 22nd in the country.

The 38-point margin of victory tied Georgia's 45-7 win in 2011 as the second largest winning margin in the history of the series. The Bulldogs have won six of the last seven meetings against Auburn.
