College Football Rankings, Week 12: Oregon takes top spot, Georgia is top one-loss team in Coaches Poll

Michael Chang

The Oregon Ducks took over as No. 1 in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll, and the Georgia Bulldogs are the nation's top ranked one-loss team, ahead of Alabama.

The latest edition of the USA Today Coaches' Poll was released on Sunday, and there was a big shakeup at the top thanks to Alabama's loss to Texas A&M. The Oregon Ducks took the top spot over fellow unbeatens Kansas State and Notre Dame.

However, the top one loss team is the Georgia Bulldogs, not Alabama. The Bulldogs are coming off a 38-0 beat down of rival Auburn, which clinched the SEC East title. It's Georgia's second straight title, but they're hoping this year's SEC Championship Game appearance goes better than last year's 42-10 loss to LSU.
