Georgia Vs. Auburn: Dawgs still have work to do, says Tavarres King

Despite clinching their second straight SEC East title on Saturday, Georgia WR Tavarres King said after the game the team knows it still has work to do.

The Georgia Bulldogs clinched their second straight SEC East title on Saturday night, after they easily dispatched the Auburn Tigers 38-0 in Athens. UGA players took a moment to celebrate the victory and the division title with their fans, but the celebration didn't last long. Wide receiver Tavarres King spoke after the game about how while the team is still happy with its accomplishment, the Bulldogs know their work isn't done:

"We're not satisfied. We know we've got bigger things ahead of us. Not to look past Georgia Southern or Georgia Tech, (the final two regular-season opponents), but we know what lies ahead. We wanna win that thing. I think last year, getting there was kind of our destiny, kind of where we wanted to be. This year it's winning. We want to win. We want to be the SEC champions. And hopefully that's what'll happen."

King has been the Dawgs' best receiver this year, with 30 receptions for 624 yards and seven touchdowns. He's essentially matched his 2011 numbers, but in four fewer games so far this season.

The Bulldogs still have two games left before they play for the SEC championship in Atlanta, but those games can't change their conference standing. The Bulldogs are likely to face Alabama in Atlanta, and hopefully for the Dawgs, it'll go more smoothly than their 42-10 loss to LSU last year.
