The Bulldogs need a strong effort up front.
Offensive line play will be important for the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2012 SEC Championship game against Alabama on Saturday. The line has had some issues this season, perhaps most notably in the team's loss to South Carolina.
"The beginning of the season, we’ve always kind of been the question mark," guard Chris Burnette said. "We’ve realized that, and we kind of take that as a chip on our shoulder, and make sure that hey, when we go out there we’re on the top of our game so people don’t blame us."
South Carolina stalled the Georgia offense with a lot of pressure on Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray; the Gamecocks are among the nation's leaders in sacks.
Alabama doesn't have as many sacks as USC this season, but the Crimson Tide lead the nation in both total defense and scoring defense. Their rushing defense and pass efficiency defense numbers both rank in the top five nationally.
