Dak Dillon-US PRESSWIRE

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top SEC teams.

The Georgia Bulldogs maintained their position as No. 1 in the SEC East Division above the Florida Gators, who the Dawgs defeated last week in their head-to-head matchup, after the team took care of business against Ole Miss.

With the season dwindling to a close, the Georgia Bulldogs control their own destiny in their path to the SEC Championship Game against No. 1 Alabama. To do so, the Bulldogs will need to go on the road and defeat the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Georgia's top competition in the Florida Gators can do nothing but watch and hope the Bulldogs fall against the Tigers, even though the team beat conference foe Missouri on Saturday.

Alabama is the only undefeated team left in the SEC after defeating LSU on Saturday. South Carolina, LSU, Texas A&M and Mississippi State are the other teams in the conference with two losses. Tennessee, Kentucky and Auburn are the conference's three teams with no wins in league action this season.
