An ankle injury has ended Abry Jones' season.
Georgia defensive end Abry Jones will miss the rest of the season because of an ankle injury, according to The Telegraph.
Georgia coach Mark Richt said on his radio show Monday night: "He's done for his senior year, and he's not gonna play again for Georgia."
Jones suffered the ankle injury in the first quarter of Georgia's 29-24 win over Kentucky on Oct. 20.
In seven games this season, Jones had 17 tackles and no sacks. Jones, a senior, will finish his Georgia career with 106 total tackles and five sacks.
Last season, Jones finished the year with 48 tackles and four sacks in 14 games.
Even without their talented defensive end, the Bulldogs have been on a tear. After losing their only game of the season to South Carolina on Oct. 6, Georgia has won three games in a row, including one over previously ranked No. 2 Florida.
Georgia travels to play Auburn at 7 p.m. Saturday.
