The Georgia Bulldogs opened as 8.5 point favorites in the Capital One Bowl against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. What are the current odds?

The Georgia Bulldogs may have lost their opportunity to go to a BCS Bowl, but they still get a quality game in the Capital One Bowl against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Despite that, betting sites have decided to open the odds well in favor of the Bulldogs at 8.5 points, according to OddsShark.com. In addition to that, some sites have already increased that line to be 10 points in favor of the Bulldogs.

The total points line opened up at 57 points and has stayed at that amount on other sites. The best recent trend for either team is the fact that the Cornhuskers are 3-5-1 in their last nine games against the spread.

The Capital One Bowl will be played at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. on New Year's Day at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on ABC with Bulldogs radio coverage on the Bulldog Radio Network.
