Georgia Southern Vs. North Dakota State Score: Warren Holloway Pushes Off, 7-0 Bison Lead

Stay connected for news and updates

A botched option play from Georgia Southern that was recovered by North Dakota State led to a 19-yard touchdown pass from Brock Jensen to Warren Holloway in the corner of the endzone. The Bison now have a 7-0 lead over the Eagles in the NCAA Division I football championship semifinal.

Holloway was well covered by the Georgia Southern defender, but a slight push off freed him of the coverage to put the first points on the board for North Dakota State. Quarterback Brock Jensen has thrown for 85 yards to go along with the touchdown.

So far Georgia Southern has been unable to get their triple option offense rolling as the Eagles have run the ball eight times for just 11 yards rushing.

The winner of the semifinal will face the Sam Houston State Bearkats in the NCAA FCS Championship next Saturday.
