Georgia Southern vs. Western Carolina 2012: TV schedule, game time, spread and more

The No. 8 Georgia Southern Eagles look to push their record to 4-1 as they take on the Western Carolina Catamounts Saturday in a Southern Conference matchup.

The Georgia Southern Eagles (3-1, 2-1) will look to make it three wins in a row as they head to Cullowhee, N.C. to face the Western Carolina Catamounts (1-4, 0-3) in a Southern Conference showdown.

The Eagles are coming off a 35-16 win over the Samford Bulldogs. Quarterback Jerick McKinnon had 196 total yards and two touchdowns for the Eagles while Dominique Swope rushed for 133 yards and two scores as well.

Western Carolina has had a tough time following an opening day win over Division II Mars Hill, losing their last four games, including their first three games in the SoCon.

In their last game, the Catamounts lost to Furman 45-24. Furman raced out to a 31-10 thanks to three Jerodis Williams touchdowns. The Paladins had 619 yards of total offense, including 389 yards on the ground.
