Georgia State Panthers head coach Bill Curry hasn't decided who will start at quarterback on Saturday, when the Panthers take on the Rhode Island Rams.

Georgia State Panthers head coach Bill Curry told the media that he's going to be making changes on special teams this week. As it turns out, Curry might be making another drastic change, too.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Panthers might make a change at starting quarterback this Saturday, when the Panthers head to Rhode Island to take on the Rams. Starting quarterback Ronnie Bell could be benched.

Curry said Ben McLane, who came on after Bell's second interception early in the third quarter, played better than he had previously. McLane started the first four games of the season. He completed 10 of his 19 attempts for 169 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

"They'll be bracketed in practice and we'll see who is ready to play on Saturday," Curry said.

Still, Curry defended Bell.

"The quarterback can't do anything if there's somebody draped around his neck or knocking his head off," Curry said.

With an 0-6 record headed into Saturday's contest, Curry has to do anything he can to jump-start Georgia State's offense.
