Georgia State Vs. Duke Final Score: Panthers can't find their stroke in 74-55 loss

It's difficult to an upset a team like Duke on the road. It's even more difficult when your clanging buckets off the basket like the Panthers were Friday evening.

The Georgia State Panthers were pretty cold from the field Friday evening, shooting 37% from the field in their 74-55 loss to the Duke Blue Devils.

Devonta White did his job for Georgia State racking up 19 points but he was a bit sloppy with the ball which negated some of his contributions (game-high six turnovers). Freshman R.J. Hunter was really the only other thing working for the Panthers as he chipped in 14 points and 10 boards. Outside of White and Hunter, the other eight players that logged minutes only had 22 points on 9-of-27 shooting.

The Blue Devils weren't exactly on their A-game either (15 turnovers) but when you have natural scorers like Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry (combined 34 points), many of your flaws can be hidden. Duke's lead never got under 12 points in the second half with Mike Krzyewski electing to only use his eight best players.

Georgia State's journey for their first win of this new season will now continue to next Tuesday when they visit BYU.
