The Yellow Jackets might be shorthanded against their in-state rival.
Regardless of records, one of the biggest games of the Georgia Tech season is against Georgia. However, the Yellow Jackets might be without one of their most important players, as their point guard Mfon Udofia is in danger of missing the game, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Udofia sprained his ankle in last Wednesday's loss to Illinois. He was expected to be evaluated on Monday.
An integral part of the offense, Udofia leads the teams with 30.7 minutes per game and 3.2 assists per game. The senior had scored at least 10 points in each of his last three games.
If Udofia can't play, Pierre Jordan would take his place in the lineup. So far this season, Jordan has just two points in 54 minutes of game action.
The Yellow Jackets will host the Bulldogs at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday night. Georgia Tech won last year's game, 68-56. Udofia had 7 points in the game.
