Georgia Tech basketball assistant Josh Postorino will be away from the team indefinitely after being arrested for a DUI last week.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets assistant coach Josh Postorino missed the team's game on Saturday night against UNC-Wilmington after he was arrested for driving under the influence in Jacksonville on Thursday morning, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Ken Segiura. Postorino was arrested and held overnight on Thursday, before being released the next afternoon.

The school released a statement saying that Postorino will not be with the team for "an indefinite period of time in order to deal with personal issues." Postorino and head coach Brian Gregory have not publicly commented on the situation. Gregory hired Postorino to his staff in April of 2011.

The Yellow Jackets next play on Monday, Dec. 17, against Alabama State, so Postorino has another week before he would miss another game. The next game after that is on Saturday, Dec. 22, against The Citadel. Georgia Tech begins ACC conference play on Saturday, Jan. 5 against the Miami Hurricanes.
