Tevin Washington and Vad Lee are once again in the mix to be the Yellow Jackets' starting quarterback this week.
When asked who the starter will be, Johnson's answer was simple:
"We'll have (a starter)," he told the AJC.
Tevin Washington was Georgia Tech's starter Saturday against North Carolina, but Vad Lee rotated in and out. Together, the duo combined to help the Georgia Tech offense score 61 points in a 68-50 win. One touchdown was a kick return for a score.
Behind center, Lee finished 6-for-10 for 169 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Washington was 1-for-2 for 39 yards.
Lee made a bigger impact on the ground. He rushed 23 times for 112 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Yellow Jackets' running game. Washington had three carries for 25 yards and a score.
Saturday's game was Washington's 27th straight start, according to the AJC.
Georgia Tech is 5-5 and has won two games in a row. The Jackets will look for another win Saturday when they host Duke at 3:30 p.m.
