Jim Cowsert-US PRESSWIRE

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are currently 10-point underdogs to the USC Trojans at the Sun Bowl. How has the line shifted since the opening odds?

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are double-digit underdogs in the upcoming Sun Bowl against the USC Trojans. While the line between the two teams opened up at 9.5 points, it has increased slightly to 10 points in favor of the Trojans. The total on the other hand, which opened at 66 points, has decreased to 64 points.

The only recent trend to report in this game is the fact that the Trojans are 1-4 in their last five games against the spread. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 21-15 loss to the Florida St. Seminoles in the ACC Championship game. The Trojans on the other hand have lost four of their last five games including a 22-13 loss to the No. 1 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Nov. 24. The two teams have never faced each other in either team's history.

The Sun Bowl is scheduled to be played at the Texas Sun Bowl in El Paso, Tex on New Year's Eve. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. EST kickoff and the game will be broadcast nationally on CBS. The radio broadcast of the game will be on WQXI 790 The Zone and on WYAY 106.7 FM.
